Global girl group UNIS, born from the “UNIVERSE TICKET” audition program exclusively streamed on ABEMA, is set to hold a highly anticipated fan event on December 30th (Tuesday) to commemorate the release of their 2nd Japanese digital single, “Don’t Be Happy,” which dropped on December 17th (Wednesday). This event promises an electrifying experience for fans, featuring the first-ever live performances of both their latest single and “Moshimoshi♡,” alongside various fan benefit activities designed for memorable interactions.

UNIS’s 2nd Japanese digital single, “Don’t Be Happy,” is a poignant love song penned by the celebrated singer-songwriter Koresawa, known for her realistic and heartfelt romance tracks. The arrangement was handled by top creators TeddyLoid and Carlos K., who transcend genres. The song captures the thrill and bittersweetness of falling in love, expressing the possessiveness and anxiety that often hide within feelings of affection through relatable lyrics. It’s a “kyun-to-suru” (heart-throbbing) pop tune, brimming with UNIS’s signature cuteness and emotional depth.
The choreography for the music video was crafted by hana, a renowned dancer also recognized as TWICE’s Momo’s sister. The routine is playfully adorned with large and small “mwah” (kiss) gestures, embodying the adorable and somewhat calculating world of a girl in love.
