To visually replicate the hands moving along the outer circumference, a ‘disk indicator’ system was adopted. Instead of traditional hands, transparent disks with printed indicators rotate, driven by the gear train at the movement’s center. This clever approach utilizes a MIYOTA movement from the Citizen Group, selected for its torque capable of stably driving independent disks. This ensures the symbolic hand movement from the game is faithfully expressed through modern watch technology. It is worth noting that, due to the nature of a quartz movement, the hands will move with a distinct ‘tick-tock’ step rather than a smooth, continuous sweep.
