The new area will feature five highly anticipated establishments: “Hokkaido Shikisai-kan,” a comprehensive souvenir shop; luxury fashion brand “MICHAEL KORS”; premium luggage specialist “ZERO HALLIBURTON”; the renowned crystal brand “Swarovski”; and the beloved “Starbucks.” Adding to the culinary delights, “Tendon Senmon Ginza Itsuki,” a popular tempura bowl specialist from Tokyo, will make its Hokkaido debut on April 22nd in the Clover Mall 2F food court. This spring, Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima is poised to offer an even richer and more diverse experience for visitors.
Exciting New Stores and Features
Hokkaido Shikisai-kan
This all-encompassing souvenir shop brings together a wide array of Hokkaido’s finest products, from popular sweets and local sake to crafts and accessories, perfect for gifts or personal treats. It also caters to the growing demand for pet-friendly Hokkaido souvenirs. Within Hokkaido Shikisai-kan, “Sapporo Nōgakkō,” famous for its “Hokkaido Milk Cookies,” will open its first specialty store in Kitahiroshima City, offering soft-serve ice cream and souvenirs.

In a pioneering move for Hokkaido, the store will introduce the “POCKETALK X” simultaneous interpretation device to facilitate natural conversations with international visitors. This is a practical trial aimed at enhancing the shopping experience for a global audience.

Enhanced Services for International Visitors
On April 18th, the consolidated tax-free counter “PIE VAT Station” will also relocate to the new East Entrance area. This service allows international visitors to receive cashless tax refunds in their preferred currency (supporting 135 currencies) via a dedicated app, streamlining the shopping experience and adapting to future tax-free system reforms without burdening individual tenants or the facility.
