From Tokyo Stage to Nationwide Tour and Daily New Tracks, This Seven-Member Unit is Ready to Capture Hearts.
Japanese idol group mementoa made a vibrant entrance into the music scene with their debut live, “To memento,” held today, January 31st, at Studio Freedom in Tokyo. The seven-member unit, formed in December 2025 with the captivating concept of “You and I, youth once more,” immediately followed their inaugural performance with a flurry of exciting announcements, setting a rapid pace for their activities in 2026.

Among the key announcements is their first solo live, “1st memory,” scheduled for Saturday, November 13th, at SELENE b2 in Tokyo. This venue represents a significant step up, boasting three times the capacity of their debut live location. To build momentum towards this ambitious challenge, mementoa will embark on a “memory trip” tour, with performances set for Saturday, July 11th, at HeartLand in Nagoya, and Sunday, July 12th, at BEYOND in Osaka. Further details regarding tickets, which will be available through Ticket Pia, are expected to be announced on mementoa’s official X account.
In an unprecedented move, mementoa is also gearing up for a seven-day consecutive new song release campaign, starting from Wednesday, April 1st, and running until Tuesday, April 7th. This musical marathon will feature contributions from a lineup of esteemed songwriters, including popular singer-songwriter Sonoko Inoue, alongside Ryo Isono, Yuya Suzuki, Daitch, Kazuma Ito, and Ryo Kikuchi. Fans are encouraged to follow the group’s official X for upcoming details on these highly anticipated tracks.
mementoa’s concept revolves around evoking forgotten emotions and bringing back irreplaceable moments through music. Each member is assigned a “key symbol,” symbolizing different “memories” and “emotions,” which intricately weaves into the group’s narrative and worldview. Their official YouTube channel already features their debut song, “Kataomoi Story,” released last December.
