A New Era of Collaborative Music: The “Re-ride” Concept
At its core, the “Re-ride” initiative is a unique, baton-style production method. A main artist performs the core parts of a song, while other artists and creators are invited to freely interpret and contribute to the remaining sections. This open-ended approach fosters a rich tapestry of sound, blending individual artistic expressions into a cohesive yet distinct new work. The project embodies C.H.E.T.’s mission to empower “everyone to be an artist” through user-participatory creative formats.
The flagship track for this endeavor is “discover,” a special song created to commemorate both the launch of V Collection (Vコレ) and enogu’s 7th anniversary. It serves as a testament to the evolving landscape of virtual entertainment, where collaboration is key.
Third Wave of Re-ride Artists Revealed
Following successful previous waves, the third installment introduces four new artists who have emerged victorious from auditions. These talents span various genres, including VTubers, VSingers, V-Livers, and creators, each bringing their unique flair to “discover.”
Participating Artists and Their Thoughts
enogu (Main Part Vocalist)
The VR idol group enogu expressed their honor in contributing the main part. “We’ve strongly felt the power of ‘connections’ in our activities over the past few years,” they stated. “These connections, especially through live performances and streams, are truly precious treasures. We hope this project will forge new connections with diverse creators, allowing us to inspire each other and create wonderful works. Please enjoy!”
Aoi Shizuku
Starting her VTuber activities in January 2021, Aoi Shizuku is known for her singing and ASMR streams, aiming for 100,000 subscribers. She commented, “I’m here thanks to my listeners, Aoinchu. Thank you always. I will pour my heart into delivering this song in my voice.”
Ichinomiya Mangetsu
A personal maid VTuber active since 2020, Ichinomiya Mangetsu handles everything from casual chats to fortune-telling. “It feels like a dream to participate in such a valuable project,” she shared. “Not only did I cover enogu’s song, but I also arranged the lyrics. I’m nervous but gave it my all. I hope you’ll add it to your playlist.”
LOCO
LOCO debuted as a VTuber in 3D at VRide! vol.16 in February 2025. She stated, “Thank you for this precious Re-ride opportunity! It’s such a joy to be able to add color to a song by enogu, who I respect as a guide in my V-activities. Thanks to everyone who supported me in V Collection, I received the Judges’ Award and can participate in Re-ride. I put a lot of emotion into ‘discover,’ so please listen!”
Hanagoromo
A local VTuber from Hyogo Prefecture, Hanagoromo is a “cherry blossom colored Japanese white-eye” who calls herself the “Harima Entertainer.” “It’s a true honor and joy to participate in this wonderful project and to work with enogu, one of my goals!” she expressed. “Since it’s a highly flexible collaboration, I’ve secretly woven in some of my own touches. Please try to find the arrangements as you listen!”

Enogu: Pioneering VR Idols
Formed in March 2018, enogu is a VR idol group consisting of Suzuki Anzu, Shirafuji Tamaki, and Hinata Nao. They are dedicated to becoming “the world’s number one VR idol group,” paving the way for countless virtual stars. Their achievements include being the sole virtual talent to appear at the “TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL” from 2019 to 2024, and securing third place in the 2023 “Idol General Election” at the same event. In January 2024, they established “enogu LLC” to independently produce their activities and create live events like “VRide!”, aiming for a future where the barriers between real and virtual dissolve for idol culture enthusiasts.
