A Visual Journey Through “dead end love”
The newly released music video for “dead end love” is a visual spectacle, conceptualized around the evocative theme of a “highway bathed in the setting sun.” It promises a vivid experience that lingers in the viewer’s memory, much like a beautiful sunset. The video was directed by Shunsuke Shiraiwa, a seasoned professional who has helmed numerous music videos for artists including Sagiri Sól’s own “heat shock,” Leo Ieiri’s “Mirror feat. Kousuke Saito,” and SIRUP’s “RENDEZVOUS feat. hard life.”
The track itself, “dead end love,” is a refreshing uptempo pop tune that candidly explores the “dead end” feelings of being unable to move forward. Released approximately three months after her 2nd EP “lapis lazuli” in August, this single has already garnered significant attention, notably being selected as the cover artist for Spotify’s official “RADAR: Early Noise” playlist. This track is also slated as the first pre-release single from her upcoming 3rd EP, which is expected in 2026. The future holds more exciting news from Sagiri Sól, so keep an eye out for further updates.
