Rock Icons PERSONZ Embark on “DISCOVER JAPAN 47” Tour, Featuring a Special Lake Biwa Collaboration
Japanese rock band PERSONZ is commemorating their ambitious “DISCOVER JAPAN 47” live tour with a unique collaboration: a special postcard present campaign for tour participants aboard the iconic paddle steamer Michigan on Lake Biwa. This initiative, running from April 17, 2026, to July 25, 2026, offers fans a chance to receive an exclusive two-card set while experiencing the beauty of Shiga Prefecture.

A Nationwide Journey of Connection
The “DISCOVER JAPAN 47” tour marks PERSONZ’s first time touring all 47 prefectures of Japan. With a heartfelt message to “make friends with everyone nationwide,” the band aims to contribute to the revitalization of local regions across the country. This spirit of discovery extends to the collaboration with the Michigan, inviting fans to explore the scenic wonders of Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest freshwater lake.
Like PERSONZ, who are celebrating their 42nd anniversary and consistently delivering their best, the paddle steamer Michigan has been in active service for over 40 years. Both entities embody a commitment to enduring excellence, promising unique and memorable experiences.
How to Receive Your Exclusive Postcards
To participate in the campaign, attendees of any of the 52 PERSONZ RELOAD TOUR “DISCOVER JAPAN 47” live performances simply need to present their tour ticket or proof of purchase at the Otsu Port ticket counter when boarding the Michigan. Each eligible person will receive one set of original postcards, available while supplies last.
PERSONZ has also released a new best-of album, featuring re-recorded versions of all their songs and new tracks written specifically for this album and tour. This collection aims to deliver the “current PERSONZ sound” to their dedicated fanbase. Passengers can enjoy everything from light meals to full-course dining, along with live music and guided tours.
“The Michigan paddle steamer offers a captivating blend of scenic beauty and vibrant entertainment,” shares a local tourism representative. “It’s a perfect complement to PERSONZ’s mission of rediscovering Japan’s regional charms.”
