On March 24, Yuno Oyuta’s birthday stage shimmered in her member color, blue. She appeared in a custom-designed, denim-style costume adorned with angelic wings, a playful nod to her ‘gakkincho’ (childlike character) image. The performance opened with a charming solo vocal, followed by a surprising guitar accompaniment, demonstrating a range of talents that impressed the audience. It was a poignant moment, signifying Yuno’s step towards a more mature artistry while retaining her youthful spirit.
Yuno shared her excitement and vision: “I produced VVSiS’s first birthday performance! I was nervous being the first, but I’m relieved it ended successfully! My theme for this performance was ‘I won’t forget my childlike heart, but I can also become an adult!’ For my outfit, I aimed for a grown-up feel, while the members’ outfits were intentionally styled like ‘water blue girls’ clothing’ – a fresh look they don’t usually wear. I focused on a production only I could deliver. VVSiS is a group where each member’s individuality shines brightly, so please look forward to everyone’s future birthday performances! I’m sure someone will definitely capture your heart, so please fall even more in love with VVSiS from now on!”
Haku Fuyori’s Cool and Captivating Debut
Following in April, Haku Fuyori’s birthday concert on April 9 embraced a distinctly different aesthetic. Her costume, a sophisticated monochrome ensemble featuring chains and a corset-style belt, perfectly embodied her ‘cool beauty’ persona. While her powerful stage presence commanded attention, glimpses of her shy and endearing side also shone through, revealing a multifaceted charm. Notably, Haku, who previously admitted to ‘running away from singing,’ courageously tackled her first solo vocal performance, marking a significant personal triumph.
Haku reflected on her performance: “For this birthday performance, I didn’t create a strict concept; I simply shaped ‘what I wanted to do right now.’ My member color is white, but I deliberately chose black for my costume to create a theme of ‘cool + a little sexy atmosphere.’ For the members’ outfits, I aimed for a casual, everyday feel, imagining ‘what kind of clothes I’d like to see them wear!’ While VVSiS generally has a slightly mischievous and youthful image, I think I was able to show our fans an ‘older sister-like side’ that’s different from usual. This time, I took a step forward by singing solo. I was able to do that because of the warm atmosphere created by VVSiS fans and the strong support from my members. I was incredibly happy with the atmosphere on the floor, where everyone gently watched over me, even if I wasn’t their bias – I felt so comfortable. I’m truly excited to continue building special moments with everyone in this group, where we wholeheartedly support each other’s birthdays.”

VVSiS (pronounced ‘Bibishisu’) is comprised of seven talented members: Yuina Usami, Mumu Midorine, Mirei Chiyose, Kizuna Tokano, Ayasa Natsuha, Haku Fuyori, and Yuno Oyuta. Their compelling catchphrase, ‘My proof starting with ×××,’ hints at their unique approach to idolhood.
