A Journey of Growth: Two Years of Chrono▷◀Reverse

In commemoration of the album’s release, an official interview with Chrono▷◀Reverse members was conducted by music writer Sora Shiomi, reflecting on their two years since their debut in March 2024. The members shared their personal growth and the profound emotions infused into the new album.

Kaname, the group’s leader, reflected on his evolving perspective: “Originally, I thought a leader’s role was mainly to synthesize everyone’s opinions. But as we continued, I realized there are moments when I need to lead decisively, even if it causes some anxiety, to earn trust.” This shift in understanding his role as a leader marked a significant personal breakthrough.

Other members also shared their unique journeys:

  • Amayume Remu: Noted improved health and mental discipline from increased dance activities.

  • Sharuro: Shared a remarkable physical transformation, losing significant weight, and a newfound focus on personal presentation and active listening.

  • ARKHE: Observed a substantial increase in his creative power and that of the other members, noting, “My creative abilities have significantly improved since our formation.”

  • Shino: Emphasized growth as a person, learning to value collective good and embrace diverse perspectives.

  • Urumiya: Highlighted his development as an MC for their weekly YouTube fan meetings, becoming better at orchestrating dynamic conversations among the members.

The “First Movement” and a Glimpse into the Future

The members collectively referred to their initial two years as the “first movement,” a period of “refinement” and “jogging.” Kaname described it as a “foundational tutorial” for their activities, a time to build strength within the framework of being agency-affiliated. ARKHE added that much of their initial activity felt like “trial and error” due to the hands-on involvement of each member.

Looking ahead, the group is now entering their “second movement,” which they envision as a “leap forward.” They aspire to “transcend the boundaries of the singer community,” aiming to reach a broader audience beyond their current niche. With the addition of 3D technology as a new tool, they feel ready to push those boundaries further, with Kaname boldly stating their goal: “The plan to Chrono-mate all of humanity.”

Chrono▷◀Reverse: A Group Forged in “Confrontation”

Chrono▷◀Reverse debuted in March 2024, formed by six elite individuals who triumphed in the rigorous ‘VOISING THE NEXT PLAYERS’ audition. Their core concept is “confrontation,” splitting into “White Team” and “Black Team” to foster friendly rivalry and collective strength. Their musical style stands out from traditional idol groups, incorporating K-POP and HIP HOP elements.
