A New Era of Entertainment at MoN Takanawa
Attendees, primarily J-me members, were among the first to explore MoN Takanawa, a museum poised for its grand opening just days after the event. The evening kicked off with DJ DRAGON’s smooth mixes at the entrance, setting a vibrant tone with tracks from artists like Sakanaction and Fujii Kaze, who have graced the ‘TOKIO HOT 100’ charts.

The ‘MEGA JAM’ this year embraced a unique, free-roaming format, encouraging guests to explore MoN Takanawa’s diverse offerings. On the third floor, an exhibition showcased original illustrations by program navigator Chris Peppler, featuring delicate portraits of chart-topping artists like Fujii Kaze and HANA, a delightful visual treat for music and art lovers alike.

This floor also hosted Chris Peppler’s immersive content, including a pioneering ‘Clear Cast’ experience. Guests could interact with a virtual Chris Peppler, feeling as if they were actual guests on his show – a truly cutting-edge encounter. Furthermore, a ‘uralaa’ space VR booth transported visitors into the inner workings of J-WAVE’s Roppongi studios, amplifying the immersive atmosphere.


Electrifying Beats and Engaging Dialogues
Returning to the first floor, Chris Peppler greeted the crowd, expressing gratitude for their attendance despite the rain and highlighting the privilege of experiencing MoN Takanawa before its official opening. The main stage then welcomed DJ FUMIYA of RIP SLYME, whose appearance was met with enthusiastic cheers. Chris Peppler warmly commended FUMIYA’s recent ‘RIP SLYME 25th Anniversary GREATEST LIVE – Final Three Nights –’ performance, acknowledging the enduring appeal of the group.
