A Journey Through Four Sensory Floors
Each of Quaro’s four floors offers a distinct experience, guiding visitors through a curated journey:
-
B1 | Alchemy: The foundation of Quaro lies in its in-house roastery, where Quaro Original Single Origin beans are masterfully transformed. This private sanctuary is where the raw bean becomes an art form, engaging the senses with the rich aroma of roasting coffee.
-
1F | Flow: Facing the bustling Cat Street, the main floor captures the city’s energy. Here, guests can experience Quaro’s signature “Flow” through special blends and artisanal pastries, observing the urban pulse while enjoying their craft.
-
2F | Resonance: A dedicated music bar, this floor offers deep relaxation. High-fidelity sound resonates with a curated menu of non-alcoholic drinks and pastries, designed for connection and tranquility.
-
3F | Edition: The top floor serves as a rotating gallery and pop-up space. “Edition” provides a dynamic canvas for brand collaborations and artistic expressions, promising a new perspective with every visit.

The Art of Design: Visuals and Space
The brand’s philosophy, “A space to momentarily pause and reopen the senses,” is reflected in every design element. The triangular filter logo, crafted by Yasuda Takahiro, the key visual designer of the Tokyo Marathon 2026, symbolizes ‘Vitality’ and ‘Depth’ with its vibrant orange hue. It visually captures the “moment of transition” when senses awaken, marking the starting point of a sensory journey.

Spatial design, led by Yoshida Ai of SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE—renowned for sensory projects like NOT A HOTEL—focuses on the harmony between organic and non-organic elements. Through the rhythm of flowing water, the interplay of light and shadow, and the tactile depth of materials, the space invites full immersion. Yoshida Ai shares her vision: “Inspired by the slopes of Cat Street, the architecture is designed as a series of ‘human-made strata.’ By integrating the concept of an ‘ORGANIC LANDSCAPE,’ we have unified architecture, interior design, installation, and art into a single, seamless spatial experience.”

The media facade, designed by Baku Hashimoto, takes an unconventional approach, prioritizing “slowness” and “darkness.” Instead of intense visuals, it generates light patterns that respond to the environment, diffusing soft reflections through louvers. This creates a tranquil presence that quietly breathes as a natural part of the Cat Street landscape, drawing inspiration from coffee filtration.
Meticulous Craftsmanship for Flavor and Aroma
Quaro’s culinary offerings are a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. In collaboration with OGAWA COFFEE and three-time Japan Barista Champion Taka Ishitani, Quaro presents exclusive single-origin and blended beans, ensuring clarity of flavor and perfect balance. The facility is equipped with La Marzocco Strada X and Linea Classic S machines for precision in every cup. With an in-house roasting facility, visitors can enjoy a multi-sensory experience, from the sight and smell of roasting beans to the final pour. Adding another layer to the sensory journey, the BGM on each floor is specially curated by ELLA RECORDS, a vintage record shop based in Tokyo’s Hatagaya.

Quaro’s signature drink menu highlights the art of the pour:
-
Coldbrew | Quaro Blend: A masterpiece of balance, rooted in the chocolatey sweetness of Brazilian beans, layered with Ethiopian floral aromatics, and brightened by Guatemalan fruit notes. Expect a vibrant journey from citrus to berry, finishing with a clean, crisp texture.
-
Matcha Latte (Hot/Iced): Sourced from Fukuoka’s Sakurai Roastery, this ceremonial grade matcha latte offers a vibrant, silky, and beautifully balanced experience.
-
Café Latte (Hot/Iced) and Espresso Tonic (Quaro Blend | Single Origin options)
-
Artisanal Soft Serve (Milk, Espresso, Matcha, Hojicha, Matcha&Hojicha, Espresso&Milk) available on cold drinks.
-
Exclusive to the 2F “Resonance” bar: Ginger Lemon (Hot/Cold) and Apple Chai Toddy (Hot/Cold).

Complementing the beverages is a signature food menu, featuring artisanal soft serve and unique “Quaroissants” in flavors like Matcha, Hojicha, Strawberry, and Chocolate.
