A New Chapter and Farewell Concerts Announced
Amidst the excitement, the event brought forth crucial news regarding STU48’s upcoming milestones. Ishida Chiho, a cherished member, will hold her graduation concert on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Kanadevia Hall in Tokyo. Reflecting on this momentous occasion, Ishida shared, “This is the first time performing in front of fans since announcing my graduation, and seeing some people tearing up made me realize it. I want to cherish and enjoy every activity during my remaining time. I love the current STU48 and the past 9 years of STU48. I want my graduation concert to condense all of that, and to be a concert that conveys the group’s charm so much that even after I’m gone, my fans will want to continue attending STU48’s lives and events.” Her words painted a vivid picture of her dedication and love for the group, a sentiment that resonates deeply with the enduring spirit of Japanese idol culture.

“Suki Sugite Naku”: A Heartfelt First Love Anthem
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the premiere performance of “Suki Sugite Naku.” Nakamura Mai, the center for this single, expressed her feelings, “’Suki Sugite Naku’ is a sad love song about the frustration and regret of first love that couldn’t be conveyed because of loving too much. I was very nervous, but I will do my best to deliver the performance to everyone!” Her sincere words set the stage for a performance that truly captured the song’s emotional depth.
