A New Wave from Okinawa
B.Rox is a full-fledged dance and vocal unit based in Okinawa Prefecture, embodying the vibrant spirit of the island. These three members are already central figures in the新生 (Shinsei – newly reborn) Okinawa Actors School, as part of the B.B.WAVES. Despite their average age of 18, their explosive expressiveness and powerful vocals have captivated audiences. Their first solo live concert in Naha City in the summer of 2024, their performance at the ‘Okinawa Actors School Grand Revival Festival’ at the Nippon Budokan in March 2025, and their appearance at MAX’s 30th-anniversary concert at the Okinawa Convention Center have all garnered significant attention.
“Greedy Girls”: A Hip-Hop Soul Anthem
Their debut single, “Greedy Girls,” is a bold statement produced by T.O.M, a top producer known for his work with Tokimeki Records, Hana Hope, and m-flo remixes. The lyrics were penned by TSUGUMI of the sister duo SOULHEAD, who dominated the music scene in the 2000s. The track is described as a hip-hop soul song that updates classic R&B sensibilities for the modern era, showcasing B.Rox’s assertive and ambitious attitude.
Simultaneously with the single’s release, the music video for “Greedy Girls” also premiered at 10 PM on the same day. The video offers a visual feast, allowing fans to witness their sharp and compelling performances.
