Organized by Kenelephant Co., Ltd., an art goods manufacturer, the traveling exhibition commemorates the release of the three-volume “AKATSUKA MANIAXX!!” anthology. This series delves into different facets of Akatsuka Fujio’s expansive body of work, with each volume inspiring thematic tribute pieces. Akatsuka Fujio, born in 1935, debuted as a manga artist in 1956 and became a titan of Japanese comedy comics, creating household names like “Osomatsu-kun,” “Himitsu no Akko-chan,” and “Tensai Bakabon.” His characters are deeply ingrained in Japan’s pop culture, often embodying a playful anarchy that continues to delight generations.

The Hiroshima leg of the exhibition will be held at BOOK PARK CLUB on the 9th floor of Hiroshima PARCO.
