Two acclaimed creators, Hayashikei and Namiguru, are set to contribute brand-new songs to the game. Hayashikei will provide a track for the unit Leo/need, while Namiguru will craft a song for Wonderlands x Showtime. Namiguru shared their enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Together with the Wonderlands x Showtime members, I created a happy song with the theme ‘Leap out and be yourself!’ Let’s go find lifelong treasures beyond our cramped daily lives! ‘Ready, set, Wonderpyoi🐰!'” This vibrant message perfectly captures the spirit of the new music.

Drumming Up Fun with Taiko no Tatsujin
A special two-month tie-up with the beloved Japanese drum rhythm game, “Taiko no Tatsujin,” is slated to begin on February 21, 2026. This collaboration will introduce three iconic “Taiko no Tatsujin” songs to “Project Sekai,” playable in a unique “Taiko no Tatsujin Mode” featuring special sound effects and voices.

Players can also acquire limited-edition avatar items inspired by “Taiko no Tatsujin” mascots, Don-chan and Katsu-chan. Furthermore, a collaborative project for the arcade version of “Taiko no Tatsujin” is in the works, promising even more crossover excitement.

Sanrio Characters Collaboration Returns
The popular collaboration with Sanrio Characters, first held in December 2023, is making a comeback from February 5 to February 19, 2026. This rerun will bring back the special collaboration gacha, “[Rerun] SEKAI de Hello♡Wonderful Encounters Gacha,” featuring ★4 members with Sanrio character headbands and live costumes. Players can also receive “Hello Kitty’s Apple” (a live bonus drink) through a login campaign, and the “Hello Kitty Full Set” will be re-released in the virtual shop.

The event includes a login story and the return of the special area, “Puro Land Sekai,” offering unique conversations. A new “Collaboration Commemorative Stamp Mission” will allow players to earn blueprints for exclusive collaboration-themed furniture to decorate their “My Sekai” spaces.


Expansive Music Library Updates
“Project Sekai” continues to enrich its music library with numerous additions. A “SNOW MIKU Song Addition Campaign” will introduce nine past SNOW MIKU theme songs, celebrating the winter-themed virtual singer.

Furthermore, five new rhythm game songs are slated for release, including “Aria,” a winning entry from the “Let’s Make Together! 31st Song Contest Proseka NEXT,” and “Maku wo Oroso, Parade e” and “Ribbon,” which topped the “The VOCALOID Collection ~2025 Summer~” rankings.
Finally, the popular song “VIVA HAPPY” will receive an “APPEND” difficulty chart, providing an exciting new challenge for seasoned players.


Engaging Events and Live Experiences
The game also announced a “Valentine Login Campaign” from February 14 to 15, 2026, offering special chocolates, a unique stamp, and fragments of thought as rewards.

“MUSIC&DINER Melopale” Pop-up Cafe
A new pop-up cafe, “MUSIC&DINER Melopale,” is set to open temporarily, conceptualized as a diner for music lovers within the “Project Sekai” universe. The key visual is handled by Mogelatte, and the interior will boast a Y2K aesthetic with new-retro music equipment. The cafe will offer unique food menus, original merchandise featuring the key visual, and special birthday menus for characters celebrating during the event period.

Reservations for the cafe are currently being accepted via a pre-lottery system on the official “MUSIC&DINER Melopale” website, with a photo-style sticker as a pre-booking bonus. The cafe will run from March 12 to April 19, 2026, across various locations in Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Miyagi.
