AnimeJapan, an annual event since 2014, draws over 100,000 visitors, transforming Tokyo Big Sight into a vibrant tapestry of anime culture. The air buzzes with anticipation as exhibitors from around the world showcase new anime works, games, toys, and host stage events featuring voice actors, limited merchandise, and game trials.

At the Com2uS booth, two prominent titles will take center stage:

  • Togen Anki Crimson Inferno: This turn-based RPG is based on the popular TV anime ‘Togen Anki.’ The game faithfully recreates the anime’s profound storyline and the unique personalities of its characters. It is being developed to feature powerful battles with dynamic 3D graphics and engaging direction.

  • Gachiakuta The Game (tentative): An upcoming survival action RPG inspired by the highly anticipated anime ‘Gachiakuta.’ This title is being developed for console and PC, promising extravagant battles that leverage its distinctive cartoon-style graphics and graffiti aesthetic, delivering a truly immersive experience.

‘Togen Anki,’ serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” (Akita Shoten), has sold over 5 million copies. It offers a fresh take on Japan’s classic ‘Momotaro’ folktale, depicting the intense conflict between those with demon blood and those descended from Momotaro. The manga has already inspired a stage play and a TV anime, with the game adaptation being the third major project.

‘Gachiakuta,’ serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine” since February 2022, is a battle action series centered on Rudo, an orphan from a slum inhabited by descendants of criminals. The series earned the Global Special Award at the “Next Manga Award 2022” and is set for an anime adaptation in July 2025, with two consecutive cours and a second season already confirmed, produced by Bones Film. Its raw energy and unique visual style have garnered significant attention.

Com2uS aims to leverage its presence at AnimeJapan 2026 to introduce its diverse lineup of IP titles, attracting new fans and strengthening its service offerings for popular domestic and international anime and game IPs. This strategic move is part of its plan to broaden its global user base and expand market presence.

“The fusion of beloved anime narratives with interactive gaming experiences is truly exciting for fans,” commented a representative, echoing the sentiment of many who look forward to these adaptations.
