The Wonjungyo Glow Comb: A Tool for Luminous Locks
Wonjungyo Hair, the esteemed haircare line supervised by top makeup artist Won Jung-yo, who is known for her work with K-Pop sensation TWICE, is introducing its very first haircare tool. The Glow Comb is engineered to deliver salon-quality results, even on the go.

Its key features include:
-
Unique “W-shaped structure”: This innovative design features two different lengths of teeth arranged alternately. It gently detangles knots, effectively catches hair strands, and smooths them from tip to root, enhancing natural shine.

-
Anti-static and smooth coating: Infused with an anti-static agent and featuring a silky-smooth surface, the comb reduces friction during brushing. This helps to prevent hair from becoming frizzy or breaking, protecting its natural luster.
-
Elegant design: The heart-shaped comb boasts a luxurious metallic champagne gold finish, embellished with shimmering rhinestones and the Wonjungyo logo. It’s a tool designed to make you feel glamorous every time you use it.

-
Convenient carrying case: Each Glow Comb comes with a zippered case, making it perfect for touch-ups throughout the day, ensuring your hair stays flawless wherever you go.

The Vision Behind Wonjungyo Hair
Wonjungyo Hair launched in May 2024 as the haircare extension of the popular cosmetics brand Wonjungyo. The brand embodies makeup artist Won Jung-yo’s desire to help everyone easily recreate professional makeup techniques and experience the excitement of their first makeup application.

Won Jung-yo, a leading figure in Korean idol makeup, has built her expertise by closely observing idols’ frequent hairstyle changes. She infuses this professional insight into every Wonjungyo Hair product, aiming to deliver salon-quality results that achieve “Hair you want” – beautiful, manageable hair with a radiant shine. She is famously known for being the exclusive makeup artist for ROSÉ of BLACKPINK and four members of TWICE.

Joining the brand as a supporter is Han Som, a popular hair stylist from Bit&Boot salon, known for working with BTS. His collaboration with Won Jung-yo further cements the brand’s commitment to professional-grade hair care.

The Wonjungyo Glow Comb will be available at Wonjungyo’s official online store, Amazon, Qoo10, Rakuten, Loft, Ainz & Tulpe, @cosme, R.O.U, Aeon, Keio Artman, Shop In, Hands, Plaza, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Yodobashi Camera (excluding some stores).
As K-Beauty continues to captivate global audiences, the introduction of innovative tools like the Wonjungyo Glow Comb, combined with immersive retail experiences, signals a bright future for Kawaii culture and its intersection with professional beauty. These developments not only offer advanced products but also bring the aspirational world of K-Pop idols closer to everyday beauty routines abroad.
