Idol group NANIMONO, celebrated for their unique approach to connecting with the “hearts of introverts” (a common Japanese term, ‘in-kyara,’ referring to those who are more reserved or enjoy solitary pursuits), recently concluded their highly anticipated national tour, ‘Kawaii Future IDOL,’ with an electrifying finale at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on January 3, 2026. This pivotal performance, marking the culmination of a 16-stop journey, also served as a launchpad for a series of major announcements that promise to propel the group into a new era of expansion, including a television broadcast, a new national tour, a 4th-anniversary celebration, and even an international debut in Thailand.
Since the addition of Azusa Wada and Ron Asahina in June 2025, NANIMONO has embraced a refreshed lineup, bringing a new dynamic to their performances. The ‘Kawaii Future IDOL’ tour was a showcase of this evolution, centered around their 3rd album of the same name. The finale was not merely a concert; it was a vibrant declaration of their artistic growth and an emotional connection with their dedicated fanbase, known as ‘TAKARAMONO’ (treasure).
The concert kicked off with an awe-inspiring grand entrance, as members appeared in new cosmic-themed costumes, immediately setting a majestic tone. The debut performance of “Daijobanai Wakusei” (It’s Not Okay Planet) enveloped the venue in a dramatic atmosphere, a perfect opening for a tour finale. This was swiftly followed by “FUTURE IDOL” and “Moshimo Watashi ga Idol ni Naretara” (If I Could Become an Idol), tracks infused with the ‘Kawaii Future Bass’ sound, vividly demonstrating NANIMONO’s current standing and artistic progression.
Throughout the evening, the group captivated the audience with a diverse setlist primarily drawn from their 3rd album, including fan favorites like “Cute Aggression!”, “Tadatada Taida” (Simply Lazy), and “Internet★Carnival.” The stage was a spectacle of evolving expression, building the venue’s energy to a fever pitch. A poignant moment arrived when Yuma Hinata addressed the crowd, sharing heartfelt sentiments: “We are clumsy and not strong, but we love our members who stand on stage with us. And we truly cherish and love all our TAKARAMONO who believe in us and come to see us no matter what. It’s okay not to be confident. I strongly want us to be a group where we can proudly say, ‘It was good that we were all together at that time.’ This is a song that proves we never gave up on our dreams, even if we couldn’t become strong.” The main set concluded with a powerful reprise of “Daijobanai Wakusei,” leaving a lasting impression as the tour’s symbolic closing anthem.
During the encore, a wave of excitement swept through the audience as NANIMONO unveiled their ambitious future plans. It was announced that the entire finale performance would be broadcast on CS channel TBS Channel 1 on February 15, 2026. Furthermore, a new national tour, “NANIMONO TOUR 2026 ‘Continue Shimasuka?'”, is set to commence in April 2026, culminating in a special 4th-anniversary live performance at Kanadevia Hall on June 12, 2026. Adding to the jubilation, a surprise announcement revealed an international performance in Thailand, fulfilling a long-held dream for member Rinne Neru, who is half Japanese and half Thai.
