A Glimpse into the Past: The “Old Mine” Cut Diamond
A highlight of the Sapporo event is the exclusive unveiling of “Old Mine” cut diamonds. These diamonds, a cornerstone of PARCELLE JEWELRY’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship, were shaped between the late 18th and late 19th centuries. Crafted by artisans under candlelight, without modern electricity or precision machinery, these diamonds radiate a distinct, warm, and fluctuating light, much like a candle flame, unlike the sharp brilliance of contemporary cuts. Their slightly distorted outlines, deep culets, and uneven facets create a captivating depth that has charmed wearers for over a century.

During the pop-up, from January 9th to 12th, Taisuke Narusawa, founder and main designer of PARCELLE JEWELRY, will be present. He will share the unique charm and history of each “Old Mine” cut loose diamond, and offer consultations for custom orders using these antique-cut gems. This is a rare opportunity for collectors to connect directly with the artisan and delve into the stories behind these timeless treasures.

New “Parure” Collection: Elegance Blooms
The highly anticipated “Parure” collection introduces new designs, adding fresh allure to its existing range. These pieces, reminiscent of flowers blooming on the hand, combine vibrant beauty with sophisticated elegance. Each ring features a raised setting encircled by delicate melee diamonds, with milgrain detailing on the arm, enhancing the center stone’s presence and creating a sense of depth on the finger. The collection offers variations with different diamond color combinations, from champagne and yellow to all-gold, and even rose-cut diamond rings that highlight transparent brown hues. Models set with sapphires, rubies, and emeralds bring a classical touch with their rich colors and beautiful cuts.

Exclusive Limited-Edition Jewels
The pop-up shop will also present several limited-edition pieces:
-
Pomponne Mosaic Ring: This special ring features rose-cut diamonds surrounding the main stone, creating a unique depth. The pavé setting, a hallmark of PARCELLE JEWELRY, meticulously arranges diamonds and colored stones to create a dazzling yet elegant sparkle. The subtle color gradations and tone mixes shift with every angle, making each ring a singular work of art that can be cherished daily or stacked with other pieces.

-
Corundum Cent Couleur Series: This collection showcases the captivating world of corundum—rubies and sapphires—combined with diamonds. Rings with bold red, blue, orange, and yellow hues add a dignified elegance, while softer combinations of pink, white, purple, and green offer a gentle yet strong presence. Limited-edition all-diamond Cent Couleur rings, featuring golden and brown diamonds, highlight the depth of color and delicate sparkle. Each of the approximately 30 rings is uniquely arranged, reflecting the buyer’s careful selection of each stone.

-
Diamond Fork Ring: A luxurious, one-of-a-kind piece that explores the diverse colors and structural beauty of diamonds. Combining white, yellow, champagne, and golden diamonds, each ring boasts a unique arrangement and color scheme. Set in platinum, the warm tones of the diamonds are enhanced, creating a substantial and elegant appearance. The flared arms, adorned with stones to their tips, capture light from every angle, while milgrain detailing on the inner arm provides a classical, balanced look.

The Essence of PARCELLE JEWELRY
PARCELLE JEWELRY’s design philosophy centers on the unique character of each material. This approach is reflected in its four core collections:
-
Colored Stones: Celebrating the diverse colors and expressions of natural stones, each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation.

-
Diamond Jewelry: Highlighting the rich hues and brilliance of natural color diamonds, arranged with delicate precision.
-
Pearl & Coral Jewelry: Emphasizing the soft luster and organic warmth of pearls and corals through thoughtful design.

-
Antique Motif: Drawing inspiration from antique jewelry, this line incorporates traditional techniques and designs into modern pieces, crafted for enduring elegance.

Custom Orders and Exclusive Novelties
Visitors to the pop-up can also take advantage of custom (semi-order) services. Customers can select their preferred natural stones from a curated collection and have them meticulously handcrafted into unique jewelry by Japanese artisans. This personalized experience, though taking approximately three months for completion, allows for the creation of a truly bespoke piece.

As a special new year’s gesture, customers who purchase a ring during the pop-up will receive an original PARCELLE JEWELRY case set. This three-piece set includes a wide ring case capable of holding two rings, with a pocketed cushion for necklaces or bracelets, and a velvet pouch. The cushion is made of jewelry cloth material, allowing for gentle cleaning on the go. This novelty is available until January 12th (Monday/Holiday) and while supplies last.
