The support extends beyond design, encompassing show direction, press and buyer invitations, and professional hair and makeup, all orchestrated with the collaboration of ANREALAGE’s seasoned production team. This comprehensive approach ensures that the young designers experience the full spectrum of a world-class fashion presentation.
Last year’s inaugural show, held in January for the 2022 awardees, drew significant attention with approximately 270 attendees at the historic Palais Brongniart. The upcoming event is set to be even larger in scale, promising to amplify the creative voices of Tokyo’s next generation.
The Visionary Behind the Mentorship
Kunihiko Morinaga, a leading figure in contemporary Japanese fashion, shared his profound motivations for his involvement. “I want to pass on the experience I’ve accumulated in the fashion industry to the next generation,” Morinaga stated, highlighting his commitment to nurturing new talent. He emphasized creating an environment where young designers could genuinely experience the industry, working alongside professionals in direction, PR, and styling.
