Starting December 20, 2025, the beloved experiential ice cream brand, Cold Stone Creamery, is set to open its doors at Kandu Dainichi, a popular job experience theme park in Osaka. This marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first Cold Stone Creamery job experience venue in West Japan, following successful launches in Kanto regions.
At the heart of this new venture is the “Ice Cream Crew” experience, where children can step into the shoes of an ice cream maker. The unique Cold Stone tradition of singing while crafting custom ice cream creations on a -9°C (15.8°F) frozen granite stone will be a central part of the activity. This interactive process encourages young participants to combine various ice creams with a colorful array of mix-ins like fruits and candies, sparking their creativity and delighting customers.

Kandu Dainichi is an immersive job experience theme park designed for three generations of families to enjoy together. It features approximately 30 different activities where children can engage in simulated work environments. Beyond the fun, the park offers practical social learning, allowing children to earn and manage a pseudo-currency called “Katchin” for shopping and banking within the facility.
