In a groundbreaking collaboration set to reshape the Japanese music landscape, 株式会社ポニーキャニオン (Pony Canyon) and 株式会社TOBE have officially announced the establishment of a new joint music label, “RED ON.” This strategic alliance, forged between two formidable forces in entertainment, aims to expand the possibilities of artist expression within the dynamic global music scene.
The name “RED ON” itself is imbued with profound meaning, representing “Resonance,” “Expression,” and “Destiny.” It signifies a space where sounds reverberate, hearts are moved, and new destinies are forged through artistic endeavors. The label’s mission is to navigate the increasingly borderless and evolving domestic and international music markets, providing a platform for artists to unleash their full creative potential.
Hiromitsu Kitayama Leads the Charge
The launch of RED ON will be spearheaded by Hiromitsu Kitayama (Hiromitsu Kitayama), whose transfer from TOBE MUSIC to the new label has been confirmed. He is slated for a continuous series of new releases in Spring 2026, embodying the fresh vision and expressive power that RED ON promises. The label is set for its full-scale activation in 2026, with both companies committed to maximizing their synergy to cultivate an engaging label focused on innovative creativity and fan engagement.

Hiromitsu Kitayama, born on September 17, 1985, from Kanagawa Prefecture, announced his new entertainment challenge with TOBE on his birthday in 2023. He debuted with his 1st Single “亂心-RANSHIN-” released on November 17, 2023. His multifaceted career includes music production, live performance direction, and acting. In June 2025, he released his 2nd Album “波紋-HAMON-” and completed a national live tour across 11 cities with 17 performances, drawing a total of 70,000 attendees. In September 2025, he was appointed as the Bulgaria-Japan Friendship Ambassador.
