Idol Powerhouses iLiFE! and iON! Join ‘LEGEND FES’ to Ignite 2026 New Year!
Tokyo’s Zepp Haneda prepares for an unprecedented cross-generational music celebration featuring legendary artists and rising stars.
The “LEGEND FES One-Night New Year! Collaboration SP” is set to kick off 2026 with a spectacular event at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO) on Friday, January 9, 2026. This festival promises a unique musical celebration, bringing together iconic figures and popular contemporary artists to transcend generations and genres in a truly unforgettable experience.
The third round of artist announcements for this special event has confirmed the participation of two dynamic idol groups: iLiFE! and iON!. These additions further bolster an already impressive lineup, creating a vibrant tapestry of talent.
iLiFE!: A Force in the Live Idol Scene
Formed on June 27, 2020, iLiFE! quickly established itself with the motto “An Idol Life created by ‘I’ (me) and ‘You’ (!).” Their energetic live performances have been a cornerstone of their appeal. The group gained significant attention on social media with their hit song “Idol Life Starter Pack” and has risen as a prominent live-centric idol group.
Building on their success, iLiFE! successfully held a solo concert at Makuhari Event Hall in 2024 and is slated for a Nippon Budokan solo live, “ONELiFE!”, in August 2025. Looking ahead to 2026, iLiFE! has also announced a two-man live with the rock band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, showcasing their expanding reach across the music scene.
iON!: The Rising Sister Unit
Debuting officially on May 22, 2025, at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo, iON! emerged as the sister unit to iLiFE!, under the HEROINES project. Their debut was marked by the release of their music video “Donzubakyun,” and they quickly followed up with a two-man live performance alongside their sister unit iLiFE! the following month.
Since then, iON! has been actively performing at major events, including a solo concert at Zepp Shinjuku. In September 2025, they successfully concluded their East-West-Nagoya tour, “First Tour 2025 ‘1ON!’,” with the final show at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo. With ongoing efforts to expand their membership and original song catalog, iON! continues to broaden its presence in the live music landscape.
