‘Unmei’: A Symphony Reimagined
O.K.THANKS.’s ‘Unmei’ draws inspiration from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, famously known as the “Fate” Symphony. The unit has meticulously reconstructed this timeless masterpiece with a contemporary band sound, giving it a fresh, powerful voice. The central theme of the song is “transcending destiny and carving out one’s own fate.” While destiny might be predetermined, fate, the song suggests, can be shaped through encounters, effort, and choices. This powerful message of self-determination and forging one’s future is conveyed through dynamic band instrumentation, creating a dramatic piece perfectly suited for the expressive stage of competitive dance.
The track, a compelling blend of classical grandeur and modern rock, was digitally released on November 16, 2025.

KUJIME’s Support for Aspiring Women
Adding another layer to this dynamic event, the doctors’ cosmetics brand “KUJIME,” founded by Keito Kujime, served as an official sponsor. Embodying its brand philosophy of “beautifully supporting all women who challenge themselves,” KUJIME provided support for both the stage performance and the championship as a whole. The prominent display of the KUJIME logo at the venue captured attention from both attendees and media outlets.
Featuring a Social Dance Icon: Kinmitsu Shinpei
The performance also featured the distinguished presence of Kinmitsu Shinpei, a revered figure in the world of social dance.

Born on May 27, 1980, Mr. Kinmitsu discovered competitive dance during his time at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, eventually becoming the top student competitor in Japan before turning professional.
