Spotlight on the Bands
RAISE A SUILEN

RAISE A SUILEN emerged as the third real band from the “BanG Dream!” media mix project. Formed in July 2018 after performing as the backing band “THE THIRD (Provisional),” they have quickly risen in the music scene. Their high musicality and technical prowess have led to numerous appearances at major music festivals, solidifying their presence.
Togenashi Togeari

Togenashi Togeari is the real band that synchronizes with the protagonists in the original anime “Girls Band Cry.” Since the TV anime began airing in April 2024, all their opening, ending, and insert songs have entered Spotify’s viral charts. The remarkable achievement of five songs simultaneously charting was a significant talking point for a new band. They successfully held a solo concert at Nippon Budokan in September of this year, and their six-city Zepp Tour is scheduled to begin in February 2026.
The Future of Japanese Band Culture
The “RAISE MY CATHARSIS” concert marks a significant moment in Japanese music, showcasing the vibrant crossover potential between anime and real-world musical talent. The enthusiastic reception, particularly the sold-out venue and the collaborative encore, highlights a growing appetite for such unique inter-project events. As both RAISE A SUILEN and Togenashi Togeari continue to expand their reach through archive streams, new collaborations, and extensive tours, they are undoubtedly shaping the future of kawaii band culture, inviting a global audience to experience the dynamic energy of Japan’s music scene.
