A Night of Unforgettable Performances
The atmosphere in Kanadevia Hall was electric even before the show began. As the Overture played, the seven members—Azusa Onodera, Karen Abe, Runa Kawagishi, Marin Seno, Ranna Maruyama, Maika Miokawa, and Komari Nakamoto—emerged one by one from large, prism-shining decorations. Cheers erupted from the audience, who were met with the members’ radiant presence. Komari Nakamoto’s acapella introduction to “Gyutte Shite” kicked off an unforgettable evening for both fav me and their dedicated fans.
The energy escalated with “Ao no Love Letter,” as Karen Abe’s cry of “Welcome to fav me’s first solo concert! May today be a special day for you and me!” resonated through the hall. Seven-colored glow sticks illuminated the venue, and the passionate call-and-response from fans fueled the performance. The group continued to elevate the excitement with “Ano Sora wa Zutto Kimi no Iro” and “Kyun tte Shite!”, demonstrating their energetic and charming stage presence.
Following a dynamic performance, the members introduced themselves. Azusa Onodera declared, “Let’s create a legend together today!” The group then performed “Suki Nankaja… Nyai!”, the lead track from their 1st single CD set for release on December 24. This song, portraying a slightly stubborn “cat-like tsundere girl,” charmed the audience. A new song, “Cinderella Love,” themed around Cinderella, also premiered, capturing the hearts of everyone in attendance.
The “Stage of the Future” Unveiled
After delivering “Wonder Run!” and “Chu Shiyou,” the members briefly exited the stage. A narration by Azusa Onodera, conveying a sense of determination, stated, “Each of the seven members is unique and number one. With these seven, we can keep moving forward.” This led into the debut performance of “Stage of the Future,” the title track of the concert. The song’s lyrics celebrated the strong bond between the members and their fans, and expressed gratitude for a bright future ahead.
The latter half of the concert saw fav me showcasing their versatility. They transitioned from the gentle yet powerful vocals of “New World” and “Ano Toki, Kimi ga Suki Datta,” which created a more subdued atmosphere, to the energetic and fast-paced “Astra” and “Straight Stride.” This demonstrated their broad performance range, from cute to cool. The main set concluded with a full-throttle performance of their popular song “Cake wo Tabereba Ii Njanai!?”, accompanied by silver tape showering the Kanadevia Hall and resounding cheers from the fans.
A Heartfelt Message and Future Horizons
As the members left the stage, calls for an encore immediately filled the hall. Responding to the enthusiastic cheers, fav me returned to perform “Straight Stride” again, delivering a stage as powerful and passionate as their main set. Following the song, Azusa Onodera shared her heartfelt thoughts on the concert: “Eight months since our debut, there were times we struggled with harsh words due to high expectations, or felt we weren’t meeting those expectations ourselves. Honestly, I was very anxious about this solo concert at Kanadevia Hall. But we’ve pushed through relentlessly together, and to be able to stand here today, watched by so many of you, I feel like we might have met those expectations a little.” She also expressed deep gratitude and resolve, stating, “With members who chase dreams together, we can still run towards our dreams.” This raw, honest moment resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the human connection behind the idol glamour.
A significant announcement followed: fav me’s 1st-anniversary concert will be held on May 18, 2026, at Toyosu PIT. Amidst applause, the group performed “Stage of the Future” once more, closing the show with the sincere words, “From here, we want to laugh with you as our endless dreams come true one by one. We shine because you are here.”
The future that awaits fav me remains unknown, but with the members who have worked hard together and the fans who have supported them, it is clear they can overcome any challenge. This first solo concert left everyone who witnessed it with that conviction.
