The Tokyo Anime Center in DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA is set to host the “Netflix Series My Melody & Kuromi Miniature Wonderland” exhibition from December 19, 2025, to February 8, 2026. This special event offers a rare glimpse into the meticulous artistry and heartwarming charm of the stop-motion animation celebrating My Melody’s 50th and Kuromi’s 20th anniversaries.
The Netflix series “My Melody & Kuromi” brings to life the contrasting personalities of the honest and cheerful My Melody and her self-proclaimed rival, the seemingly rough but secretly romantic Kuromi. Their adventures in Mari Land, where they confront a major incident threatening their town, are beautifully rendered through the intricate world of stop-motion animation. This exhibition allows visitors to step behind the camera, showcasing the actual dioramas, props, and character models used in the production.
