About the Author
Hiroyuki Aoyama is a professor at Yokohama National University, a calligrapher, and a beautiful handwriting researcher. He serves as a standing director of the National University Calligraphy and Calligraphic Education Society. His work includes research on penmanship and calligraphy, training school teachers, and writing/editing models for Ministry of Education-approved textbooks. He has appeared on numerous NHK programs, including “Asaichi” and “Koko Koza,” where he simplifies penmanship and calligraphy skills and promotes the appeal of the written word. He has authored many books and magazine articles, including the popular “NHK Marutoku Magazine MOOK: Correcting Bad Handwriting – Beautiful Writing Lesson Book.”
