Wacom Launches “Draw BEYOND” Contest to Inspire Next-Level Digital Art
Pushing the boundaries of creativity, Wacom celebrates its latest innovations with an exciting new illustration challenge.
Wacom Corporation has announced the launch of the “Draw BEYOND Wacom Illustration Contest,” commemorating the release of five new products in 2025. The contest invites artists to submit original digital illustrations that embody the theme “Draw BEYOND,” challenging them to explore what lies “beyond” the act of drawing itself.

The competition welcomes a wide range of participants, from beginners enjoying digital art to aspiring professionals. Prizes include Wacom’s latest 2025 products: the “Wacom® Cintiq® 24” liquid crystal pen tablet for the Grand Prize, the “Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14” portable creative pad for the Excellence Award, and the “Wacom® Intuos® Pro medium” pen tablet for the Wacom Award.
Judging the entries will be popular illustrator Yusuke Saito, known for his artwork on the Wacom MovinkPad series. Saito encourages artists to submit works that challenge their everyday creative environments and push the boundaries of expression.

Meet the Judge

Yusuke Saito is an accomplished illustrator who graduated from Vantan Design Institute’s Illustration program in 2003. Since then, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, contributing artwork to diverse media both domestically and internationally. His impressive portfolio includes providing artwork for YOHJI YAMAMOTO at Paris Fashion Week in 2017, as well as working on advertisements, book covers, and CD jackets. Saito is also the author of the comic “Chuck and the Girl.”
