A Trio of Finnish Icons
This special project sees Fazer commissioning ARABIA to create a limited-edition Moomin bowl, a true collector’s item set to be released on December 5, 2025. Fazer, established in 1891, has a rich history spanning over 130 years, upholding its founding principle of “providing happy moments.” The company is also committed to ethical practices, using 100% Responsible Cocoa to support cocoa farmers and protect forests.
The connection between Moomin creator Tove Jansson and Fazer runs deep, dating back to 1937, even before the first Moomin story was published. Notably, in the inaugural Moomin novel, the Moomin family’s fondness for Fazer’s delicious chocolates is vividly depicted, often to the point of overindulgence.
A Bowl Steeped in Moomin History
This commemorative bowl features a precious illustration from that very first Moomin story, an artwork that, until now, has never been used outside of books. This makes the ARABIA-crafted bowl an exceptionally rare and meaningful piece for fans worldwide.

Product Details and Availability
The Moomin x ARABIA x Fazer Bowl measures 15cm, priced at 7,700 JPY (tax included). Crafted from porcelain, it has a diameter of approximately 150mm and a height of 55mm, with a capacity of about 280ml. It is produced in Thailand. Please note that minor imperfections such as small black spots or indentations may be present due to the nature of the material, but these do not affect the quality.
