About i-Okey: The Idol Orchestra
i-Okey, an abbreviation for “Idol Orchestra,” is a unique 12-member unit comprising seven vocalists, a violinist, a saxophonist, a flutist, and two performers. Their distinctive style integrates numerous classical pieces, such as Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” and Offenbach’s “Can-Can” (from “Orpheus in the Underworld”), into their original songs. This blend creates a captivating performance that harmonizes singing, instrumental play, and dance. Since their debut single “Catch The Dream” in March 2021, i-Okey has steadily built a dedicated fanbase, marked by successful one-man lives at venues like Toyosu PIT in August 2022 and Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in January 2024.
